Origin Food Service Management is a small family managed business to business catering company, that is passionate about producing simple, yet interesting, wholesome, tasty food using good quality ingredients supplied by other small suppliers or farmers.
Providing an authentic, personalised service is also very much part of our philosophy, as is ensuring we care for our fantastic, hard-working on-site teams.
We believe in a strong set of core values that drive our unique company culture.
We believe any company nowadays cannot ignore what is happening in the broader environment.
In 2014 we started a youth development training programme that has been designed to offer youth experience in our industry.
We're also currently assisting local soup kitchens.
WHAT WE DO
We manage on-site catering services for clients, specialising in the education sector, and have recently extended our services into the leisure sector.
For schools, we offer a range of services from meals for boarding facilities offering breakfast, lunch and dinner, to a healthy Tuckshop retail offering, as well as other tailor-made functions and requests. Basically, if it’s about food, we do it!
We do not use external, processed foods, and we create everything on-site ourselves.
Innovation and detail underpins everything we do as a company, our supply chain strategy, and operating practices, which has provided a strong platform for what has become a successful model over the past 10 years.
BALANCE AND NUTRITION
Providing meals in the education sector for over ten years, we understand the important connection between food and both the physical and mental development of students.
We spend a great deal of time on this, and work with a team of dieticians who review our menu.
Additionally, we believe in guiding students to make the right choices, and do this by communicating to them via our food-i-cation programme.
